San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge pledges $100,000 to Harvey relief

Other Spurs give donate time, supplies to relief efforts

SAN ANTONIO – Add San Antonio Spurs' power forward LaMarcus Aldridge to the list of celebrities and athletes giving back to Texans affected by Hurricane Harvey.

On Saturday, Aldridge, feeling inspired by Houston rapper Trae the Truth's hands-on help to those impacted, tweeted he would donate $100,000 to relief efforts.

Trae the Truth said he knows Texas appreciates Aldridge's help as much as he does.

Other Spurs contributed to the cause and helped serve meals at the San Antonio Food Bank on Thursday.
