Deven Clarke joined the KPRC 2 News team in 2021.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, but his partially southern roots help him feel right at home in H-Town.
Deven is a proud Howard University Alum. Coming from a family of missionaries, he's always had a passion for helping others.
Deven got into news after realizing he didn’t want to be a doctor, like originally planned (chemistry class confirmed that).
One day in college, Deven was asked to fill in as a sports anchor for the university news program, and never looked back.
Deven loves animals; he also loves to cook, workout, and travel.
