1 dead, 1 hospitalized after mobile home fire at Canyon Lake, firefighters say
CANYON LAKE, Texas โ One person is dead and another is hospitalized following a mobile home fire at Canyon Lake, according to Canyon Lake firefighters. Firefighters said the single-wide mobile home was showing heavy fire when they arrived and they received reports of residents still inside. Flames were intense as firefighters worked to extinguish them throughout the residence. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Comal County Fire Marshalโs Office and the Comal County Sheriffโs Office. Authorities recover body of missing 25-year-old man near Party Cove in Canyon Lake
COMAL COUNTY, Texas โ Authorities have located and recovered the body of Luis Rodriguez, a 25-year-old who was reported missing at Canyon Lake last weekend. Rodriguez was found by the Houston and Harris County Dive Team, the Canyon Lake Fire Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens at 5 p.m. Thursday, according to officials. He first disappeared on the Fourth of July, and officials suspected he had drowned at Party Cove in Canyon Lake. Soon after, deputies, game wardens and Canyon Lake Fire staff and EMS began their search for Rodriguez last weekend and have continued to search until he was recovered on Thursday. Search continues for missing 25-year-old man who may have drowned in Canyon Lake
COMAL COUNTY, Texas The search for a missing 25-year-old man who may have drowned at Party Cove in Canyon Lake is still underway by Comal County officials. The search for Rodriguez began Saturday, July 4th, and Rodriguez was last seen at 4 p.m., according to the CCSO. Moments later, deputies, game wardens and Canyon Lake Fire staff and EMS began searching the area. Anyone with more information on Rodriguezs whereabouts is urged to contact the Comal County Sheriffs Office at 830-620-3400.
