Police: Suspect lashes out, possibly with machete, after seeing man with ex-girlfriend
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are trying to find a 36-year-old man who they say went on the attack, possibly with a machete, after seeing his ex-girlfriend with another man. They say he cut that other man on his arms. Police said the attack came by surprise around 3:30 a.m. Thursday at The Jackson apartments, located on Jackson-Keller near Loop 410. They say the suspect, who had been hanging out in the parking lot, used either a large knife or machete to cut the 37-year-old victim after he saw him walking with his ex-girlfriend. They said they also had a few addresses that they planned to visit in their attempt to find him.
Arson investigators looking for cause of fire at apartment complex on North Side
SAN ANTONIO โ Arson investigators with the San Antonio Fire Department were called after a laundry room at an apartment complex on the North Side caught fire early Monday. The fire happened around 2:40 a.m. at the complex in the 100 block of Dresden Drive, not far from Blanco Road and Jackson Keller Road. Fire officials said crews were able to quickly knock down the fire in the laundry room. The estimated cost of damage is $30,000. San Antonio police were also at the scene.
SAPD searching for missing 37-year-old man
SAN ANTONIO The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the publics help in finding a missing 37-year-old man. Samuel Sammy Rivera was last seen June 23 in the 100 block of Jackson Keller Road. Rivera is 5 foot, 8 inches tall, weighs 237 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. Officials believe Riveras disappearance may pose a threat to his health and safety.
