SAN ANTONIO – VIA Transit is announcing its 22nd annual Youth Art Contest. The theme this year is "Explore - plan your next adventure."
Students in Pre-K through 12th grade are encouraged to enter. Their artwork should focus on local landmarks and public transportation themes.

The contest's official poster boards should be used. The boards are free.
Tammy Nguyen, the 2016 best of show winner, said she used lots of bright colors and took the theme and ran with it.
Those who participate are competing for cash prizes and a chance to see their artwork displayed on a VIA bus.
The boards can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday at VIA's administration building on West Myrtle Street, or at the VIA Metro Center on San Pedro Avenue.
