SAN ANTONIO – Brunch is a popular San Antonio past time and this Mother’s Day will see brunch specials all over the city.

Some of the more popular restaurants include Luke, Mash’D, Feast, Ocho and Whiskey Cake.

Musical group South Texas Jazz Duo will bring a little taste of New Orleans to the Alamo City on May 8 at the Riverwalk restaurant Luke, for a culture-filled Mother’s Day buffet.

Creole-inspired dishes like oysters bienville and cast iron baked grits and grillades will be served with traditional favorites like Belgian waffles and eggs Benedict.

Mash’D is offering a special brunch menu with $2 mimosas all day long for mothers. Specials include everything from migas to chicken and biscuits.

Feast is serving their usual brunch menu with a wide variety of culinary options from Chef Steven Bowers. 

Ocho will be serving brunch as well and offering $5 mimosas. 

Whiskey Cake will feature a build-your-own bloody mary bar. The brunch menu will remain the same, with everything from chicken and waffles to fried green tomatoes.

For those moms who want to sleep in on Sunday, Fogo de Chao is offering to all mothers who dine in on Mother’s Day weekend a complimentary lunch or dinner on the following visit.  Children 6 and under eat free, and children 7-12 dine at half price. Click here for the menu.

The Hilton San Antonio Airport has a "staycation" package for moms that includes a special room rate. Enjoy a night in the newly renovated hotel and grab brunch at the on-site restaurant Asado Seafood & Grill.
