East Side church ransacked by thieves

Suspects sought in burglary at Grace Apostolic Church

San Antonio police are on the lookout for the thieves who ransacked and stole several items from an East Side church.

The pastor of Grace Apostolic Church located in the 400 block of South Pine said she arrived at the church for Bible study Thursday evening and noticed several items that had been stolen.

She said a set of drums, a mic system, some furniture, money and even food was taken.

"It's not that we're mad at them, we just want our things back. God will take care of that," said Pastor Florine Ogilvie.

Ogilvie said none of those items are insured. The church has been open since 1999 and this was the first time it had been burglarized.
