NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – There is a new committee in New Braunfels that will soon oversee tubing, tourism, safety and anything river related.
The New Braunfels City Council adopted a resolution Monday to create the River Advisory Committee.
The city says the committee will provide recommendations to the City Council on capital improvement projects involving the river.
The seven-member committee will also distribute information to the public about the river.
