SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the two people killed in a major crash on the West Side Monday evening.
The pair have been identified as 72-year-old Rudy Escobar Jr. and 65-year-old Irma Banda de Escobar.
The couple was killed when the SUV they were in hit a minivan, went into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup before rolling near Southwest Research on Culebra Road.
Police say the couple may have been fighting in the SUV at the time of the accident.
The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
