SAN ANTONIO – A train crashed into a car that was left on some West Side tracks early Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. at the tracks near Saltillo Street and South San Jacinto.

San Antonio police said the train engineer could not stop and dragged the car about 1,000 feet.
Police said no one was in the car at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported. There was no word who abandoned the car.
