SAN ANTONIO – KSAT 12 meteorologist Mike Osterhage says things are setting up for a potential repeat of torrential rain that fell Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio.
At 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a few showers and storms were moving in from the Gulf Coast. Behind that, another large area of heavy rain was building near Corpus Christi.
Heavy rain is possible as the storm heads northwest and continues to develop throughout the afternoon.
On Tuesday, rainfall rates at 2 inches per hour were recorded. Locations near Shavano Park and Helotes picked up 2 1/2 to 3 inches of rain.
