Authorities say woman passed counterfeit $100 bill

Comal County Crime Stoppers offering $2,000 reward

SAN ANTONIO – The Comal County Crime Stoppers is asking the public to help identify a woman who is accused of using counterfeit money at a business.

Comal County sheriff's officials said the woman made a purchase with a fake $100 bill at a business in the county.

Anyone with information is asked to call Comal County Crime Stoppers at 830-620-TIPS (8477) or 800-640-8422.

Tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274737) or by visiting the Crime Stoppers website.

A reward of up to $2,000 will be paid for information that leads to the identification of the woman.

All calls are kept confidential and all callers will remain anonymous.
