Northeast SA man charged with child sex abuse now wanted for going off the grid

Michael Ray De La Garza, 27, accused of violating bond conditions

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man who posted bond on child sex charges is accused of violating those terms while awaiting trial.

Michael Ray De La Garza, 27, was arrested in March 2015 on charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

"He was subsequently released on bond conditions of home confinement, electronic monitoring, and appearance at all court proceedings," said Deputy US Marshal Chris Bozeman. "In April of this year, De La Garza allegedly violated the conditions of his bond, because he cut off the electronic monitor and fled the home."

De La Garza is 5'7" tall and weighs 151 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"His last known place of residence was on the Northeast side of San Antonio," Bozeman said.

If you have any information on De La Garza's whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
