SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is scheduled to hold a press conference at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday with the off-duty deputy who helped rescue a woman and her baby from high water.
Deputy Jason Jarvis was on his way to work Wednesday morning when he heard the call for a high-water rescue.

He and a good Samaritan helped rescue the woman, who was clinging to a tree as she held her baby in her arms.
