Man shot, killed outside MLK Food Mart

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a man was shot and killed outside an East Side convenience store early Saturday morning. 

Officers responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Amanda Street and Martin Luther King Drive around 12:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a man dead inside a blue car riddled with gunshots. Police estimate 30 to 40 shots were fired.

Police said no one was around to witness the shooting. Officers are investigating the shooting death.
