SAN ANTONIO – District 10 Councilman Clayton Perry teamed up with New Creation Christian Fellowship and Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Calvert to host a back-to-school pep rally at Morgan’s Wonderland.
More than 1,000 backpacks with school supplies were given away during Saturday’s event.
Members of the San Antonio Police Department, Fire Department, San Antonio Water System, and Pre-K 4 SA also attended in hopes of getting kids ready to head back to school.
