Nominees and winners are chosen by their peers and those associated with the sport of rodeo worldwide.

"We are truly astounded to receive our 11th consecutive award," said San Antonio Stock Show Rodeo Executive Director and CEO Keith Martin, who was in Las Vegas to accept the honor. "Over 6,000 highly-committed volunteers drive the engine of this very blessed organization from beginning to end -- and they are why we succeed."

Before the ceremony, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo was also acknowledged as one of the “Top 10 Must See Rodeos of 2016” in the December/January issue of Western Horse & Gun Magazine.

Rodeo organizers research and recruit world-class animal athletes from North American stock contractors and book internationally renowned performers. The event also boasts one of the largest junior livestock shows in the nation, featuring more than 60,000 animals.

The 68th annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will be held Feb. 11-28 at the AT&T Center/Freeman Coliseum grounds. Tickets are available on the rodeo's website.
