On April 24, Lewis and a man were talking inside a 7-Eleven in the 6100 block of Interstate 35 North, and later walked to man's car.

The man told police that's when Lewis pulled out a handgun demanding his property. When he tried to run away, the man said Lewis fired the gun at him shooting him in the leg before taking off in his car.

Police said they were called for a report of another robbery at the nearby Antioch Village Apartment complex just a short time after the first robbery.

At the location, a man told police Lewis came up to him asking him where he could buy marijuana. After telling Lewis he didn't know, Lewis pulled out a handgun, racked the slide of the gun and demanded his belongings, according to the affidavit.

Police said a witness was able to identify Lewis as the gunman who committed both robberies.

Prosecutors are charging Lewis with two first-degree felonies. His bail has been set at $150,000.
