United Way launches 2018 Community Campaign goal

Campaign aims to raise $41 million

SAN ANTONIO – The United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County aims to raise $41,250,000 during its 2018 Community Campaign.

The goal was announced Thursday morning by campaign chair Kim Lubel, at Clarity Child Guidance Center, a United Way partner agency.

"It's such an impact to so many United Way agencies, you know, 68 plus agencies and even more programs than that and even more focused on children, and students and individuals and families and safety net services. So the money is so important to so many critical areas of our community," Lubel said.

Lubel said she's confident the goal will be realized.

In addition to cash donations, United Way is also in need of volunteers.
