Burger beef: Two San Antonio restaurants in legal fight over use of โjuicyโ
SAN ANTONIO โ Editorโs note: This story was published through a partnership between the San Antonio Business Journal and KSAT. Longhorn Cafe LLC sent a cease-and-desist letter to local restaurateur Andrew Weissman, owner of Mr. Juicy restaurants, demanding he stop using that name for his growing burger spots. The Longhorn Cafeโs menu touts the โOriginal Big Juicyโ burger. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has โOriginal Big Juicyโ and โHome of the Original Big Juicyโ registered to Longhorn Cafe. Weissman said he has never had a customer or incident where Mr. Juicy was confused with Longhorn Cafeโs Original Big Juicy.

Papaโs Burgersโ โEl Caliente Burgerโ was named the best in Texas by Eat This, Not That, a food website that covers wellness, food, health and nutrition.
