SAN ANTONIO – Construction crews have been busy Wednesday dealing with two different gas leaks near Stone Oak on the city’s far North Side.
The first gas leak was reported at Highway 281 and Sonterra Parkway Wednesday morning. Crews are still working to make repairs and traffic on the access road between Sonterra and Loop 1604 remains slow.

Another gas leak occurred Wednesday afternoon at Loop 1604 and Blanco Road.
Crews there hit a gas line near the Vineyard Shopping Center. San Antonio police are providing traffic assistance.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
