SAN ANTONIO – KSAT12 meteorologist Mike Osterhage says the severe storms last night have moved out of the area. Some mist and drizzle this morning, and then a shower or two are possible this afternoon. Cooler the next few days with more showers and storms, Osterhage said.

Medina ISD has delayed all classes until 10:30 a.m. following the storms Sunday night, the district announced on its website. Students can be dropped off after 7:15 a.m. The cafeteria will be opened and ready to serve breakfast.

Portions of the Texas Hill Country and South Texas remain under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m.

A cold front is sweeping in from the west, where a line of storms has formed along it.

The watch included Bandera, Edwards, Gillespie, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Llano, Maverick, Real, Uvalde and Val Verde counties.

A small band of thunderstorms formed over Bexar, Comal and Blanco counties, and produced some quick heavy rain around 4 p.m. Sunday. The storms did not produce any severe weather.

The biggest threat remains high wind and heavy rains.

Even after the front passes, rain chances will continue across the area from the early part of the week.
