Free mega medical, dental clinic begins today at Alamodome

No-cost clinic runs from Wednesday to Friday (April 8-10)

SAN ANTONIO – Wednesday is the first day of a free mega dental and medical clinic that will be held at the Alamodome this week.

More than 1,500 healthcare professionals and volunteers will operate the no-cost clinic on Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m to 4 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Over $10 million in free health-related services will be offered to noninsured and underinsured residents at the Alamodome. 

Free on-site services include: 

  • Primary care visits
  • Women's health services, including pap smears
  • Medical specialists consultation, including heart evaluation
  • Gastroenterology
  • Neurology
  • Pulmonology
  • Rheumatology
  • Infectious disease
  • General and orthopedic surgery
  • Pediatrics
  • Podiatry services
  • Immunizations
  • Root canals
  • Crowns
  • Fillings
  • Extractions
  • Dental cleaning
  • Pharmacy
  • Eyeglass fittings and examinations
  • STD screenings
  • Medical massage
  • Physical therapy
  • X-rays
  • Laboratory services

Services will be offered on a first come, first served basis. No insurance and no identification are required. 

No appointment is necessary, other than surgical procedures, which require pre-surgery visits.

Surgical patients are asked to call 1-888-44-Pathway (1-888-447-2849) ASAP to register for free surgery.
