Police identify home invasion suspect through Facebook page

Christopher Jack, 20, accused of stealing electronics

SAN ANTONIO – Christopher Jack, 20, has been arrested in connection with a Jan. home invasion after San Antonio police identified him through a Facebook page.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Jack is believed to be one of two men who forced their way into another man's home Jan.  2.

The victim told police that a friend of his girlfriend had arrived at the home minutes before he heard a knock at his door. The man said when he opened the door, two men with guns barged in and demanded that he hand over all his electronics.

The affidavit said that the robbers took off in a car, but a neighbor managed to write down their license plate number.

Police said they found out the car belongs to the aunt of the woman who had come to the victim's home just before the robbery.

The affidavit said that investigators following up on leads found a Facebook page belonging to Jack. They said they included his photo in a lineup and the victim identified him as one of the suspects.

There is no mention in the affidavit of a second man being arrested. It does say that the woman involved was also taken into custody.

Jack faces a charge of aggravated robbery.
