SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot in the back Monday afternoon on the city's East Side.
Police said the victim was shot by a man he was having a conversation with around 5 p.m. in the 600 block of Morning View.
The victim, believed to be in his late teens, was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious injuries, police said.

The shooter is believed to be in a late-model blue or teal Dodge pickup.
Police said they are having some difficulty developing leads because potential witnesses are not cooperating.
