Motorcyclist arrested after leading DPS troopers on vehicle chase

Chase began just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday

SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist has been arrested after leading Texas Department of Public Safety troopers on a vehicle chase overnight.

The incident began just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

DPS troopers said they were originally trying to stop the motorcyclist for speeding when the chase began.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, eventually wrecked on Ackerman Road near Binz-Engleman Road.

The man was taken into custody without incident. Charges are pending, DPS troopers said.
