SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are looking for a driver who hit a West Side day care van as workers were unloading children.

No one was hurt but all seven children who were inside the van were checked out by paramedics.

Tena said staff members notified all of the parents about the crash.

The car driver, meanwhile, left the scene.

Witnesses said he got out the car, asked if everyone was ok, then took off running.

San Antonio police searched the area but did not find him right away.

They said a woman who showed up at the scene told them she owned the car. They said she was able to give them the name of the person driving.
