SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a shooting outside an East Side sports bar early Saturday morning.
Police said two men got into a confrontation at the Tropicana Sports Bar on South Gevers and Essex Street.

One man pulled out a gun and fired several shots, hitting the other man multiple times, police said.
The shooter ran away, police said.
The victim found help at Fire Station No. 9 in the 600 block of Dalmar. He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
