SAN ANTONIO – A longtime member of the KSAT family is calling it a career.
KSAT 12 News photographer Gilbert Rodriguez on Tuesday is retiring after working at KSAT for 34 years -- to the day!
Gilbert said he'll never forget the first story he covered -- a sniper opening fire at the Battle of Flowers Parade on April 27, 1979.
Gilbert, an avid softball player, plans on relaxing right away.
He's going on a cruise and then plans on doing plenty of fishing.
Here's to tight lines and an enjoyable retirement, Gilbert!
