Woman caught ‘red-handed’ after painting graffiti on Dripping Springs City Hall, officials say
A woman is in custody after she was caught “red-handed” after using red paint to vandalize the Dripping Springs City Hall building, according to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office. Surveillance video was later sent out on social media by the sheriff’s office, in hopes the public could help identify the suspect. When investigators made contact with Gibson, she was found with red paint on her hands and on the outside and inside of her vehicle, which matched the graffiti found on the city hall building, officials said. She was arrested for criminal mischief, which is a state jail felony, and was taken to the Hays County Jail. Anyone with more information on this incident is urged to contact the Hays County Sheriff’s Office at 512-393-7896, and to refer to case number HCSO 2021-14486.

James Leslie Bacon was last seen at 12 p.m., Friday, July 3, in the 1000 block of Flathead Drive. Sheriffs deputies said they pinged Bacons phone Saturday, July 4, at 10:45 a.m. in Jeanerette, Iberia Parish, Louisiana. Bacon is described as having gray hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jean coveralls and brown cowboy boots. Texas man holds sign inviting his community to ask him anything about racism
Kaniga, who is black, said the sign serves as an invitation for his community in Dripping Springs, Texas, to talk to him about race and racism candidly. Many people have asked me, Whats up with all lives matter versus black lives matter, the 20-year-old told CNN affiliate KEYE. Nobody said only black lives matter or black lives matter more than white lives. It's uncomfortable having to put yourself out here, but I mean that's why I put on this sign make yourself uncomfortable," Kaniga said. The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying a man who robbed a Dripping Springs corner store on Christmas Day. The suspect, who is believed to be 6 feet 3 inches tall with a reddish blond beard, wore a dark hoodie, dark sunglasses and a black beanie when he walked into the store at the intersection of Sawyer Ranch Road and U.S. 290 around 2:05 a.m.SAPD: Man shoots himself after fatally shooting pregnant exDeputies said the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. He fled in a white four-door passenger car. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Detective Brian Wahlert at 512-393-7343.
