Bobby Lee Carter Junior, their son, was killed alongside Robert Smith, 20, on the Northeast Side. Bobby Lee Carter Senior and Victoria Carter, his parents, said their son was a happy boy. He had a good heart and soul.”They said Bobby Lee Carter Junior suffered from ADHD, but was finding his own ways of dealing with it. Bexar County Deputies said Bobby Lee Carter Junior was trying to sell marijuana to Smith when two men approached their car, robbed them and shot them.

SAN ANTONIO – Two south Texas brothers are desperate for answers after they say their mother, who is homeless and schizophrenic, was found severely beaten in the downtown area of San Antonio, not far from Haven for Hope. “An SAPD officer said it could have happened from her falling on the ground because they found her seizing out,” Matthew Bessey said, annoyed. “They need the proper help,” Matthew Bessey said. Matthew Bessey said he also demands the police to take his mother’s case seriously despite her being homeless. “The trauma surgeon and the doctors that told us everything,” Matthew Bessey said.

It’s the second time in less than three months Officer Marcus Justice has been suspended for a traffic-related incident, records show. Justice was involved in a wreck with another vehicle in March in the 600 block of Lanark Drive, suspension records show. A subsequent investigation determined that Justice reached speeds of 68 miles per hour while traveling along Lanark Drive, according to suspension files. Justice pulled over, but as the police officer was getting out of his vehicle, Justice “drove off at a high rate of speed,” according to suspension records. The November 2019 incident culminated with officers ending their chase and filing an evading arrest complaint against Justice, records show.
