SAN ANTONIO – Comedian George Lopez spent the Fourth of July with Carlos Santana by attending the rock music great's sold-out concert Tuesday night at the Majestic Theater.

In Lopez's expletive-laden bit, he thanked the visitors who decided to spend the holiday in the Alamo City who had to "walk the River Walk in 104 (expletive) degrees."

The comedian went on to say that people need to wear sunblock because "white lives matter."

"I see you guys at the pool," Lopez said. "You're half red, you're half white. You look like (expletive) Tylenol."

Lopez told the crowd about his upcoming special on HBO titled "The Wall."

"Somebody asked me, 'How do you feel about the wall as a Mexican?'" Lopez said before quipping, "Well, we'll (expletive) get over it."

Lopez was joined by Latino civil rights activist Dolores Huerta, of San Antonio. The pair shook maracas on stage with Santana for a couple of songs.

Santana thanked Huerta for her lifelong pursuit of civil rights justice.

The rock 'n' roll legend told the crowd to look out for a movie titled "Dolores," about Huerta's work with United Farm Workers union leader Cesar Chavez, who died in 1993. The movie, which was a project of Santana's, will be shown at the LULAC national convention in San Antonio this week.

Huerta, who was sporting a hat that had an anti-SB 4 sign on it, urged the crowd to join the fight to prevent the enactment of a law banning sanctuary cities, which is to go into effect in September.

SB 4 will allow police to ask people about their immigration status during routine stops. Opponents say the law could cause numerous problems, including racial profiling.

Two legal filings on the law await rulings by federal judges in San Antonio and Austin.
