New restaurant brings burgers, live music to West Side

Flavor Favs: Texas Burgers, Brews & Blues

SAN ANTONIO – Hard work and determination has paid off for Henry and Sandra De Los Santos. In July, their dream became a reality and Texas Burgers, Brews and Blues opened its doors on 2202 N. Zarzamora.

The couple who first started selling tacos at the flea market knew they wanted their own place.

"We were selling tacos on Sunday and that's how we got a little bit of money to start buying equipment," Sandra De Los Santos said.

The menu at the restaurant consists of hand cut onion rings, fried pickles, wings and of course burgers.

The top burgers on the menu are the mushroom burger and the bacon burger.

"There's nothing like it around here," Henry De Los Santos said. "It's something different for the people to enjoy."

Not only is the food worth the visit, but Wednesday through Saturday they offer live music.

"We bring all types of music and we also try to bring in young kids so they get some stage time," De Los Santos said.

The De Los Santos have now become a part of the West Side community and hope everyone else in San Antonio will stop by and enjoy burgers, brews and blues.
