SAN ANTONIO – Over the past month, we've tried barbecue from several different spots in South Texas and Flavor Favs wraps up the month with a stop at San Antonio's newest barbecue joint, Alamo BBQ Co.
This is the third barbecue restaurant for chef Jason Dady, and this one brings the same great flavors.
The menu consists of options like Frito pie, chopped beef queso, brisket and peach-glazed baby back ribs.
Not only is the menu fantastic, but the atmosphere at the restaurant is very inviting.
"You'll see a lot of families out here just eating barbecue, sipping on some drinks while the kids play," pit master Laura Loomis said. "It's a really nice, family-type environment."

Alamo BBQ Co. is located at 511 E. Grayson St., and is open Tuesdays through Sundays.
