SA restaurant creates Boban Burger, Charles Barkley Burger

Flavor Favs: Bites - Would you try one of these burgers?

SAN ANTONIO – Raymond Diaz, owner of Everybody Loves Raymonds in the 18600 block of Pleasanton Road, says he grew up a big Spurs fan and now his love for the Silver and Back is shown at his restaurant.

With the Boban craze going on this year he decided to make a massive burger and call it “The Boban.”

This burger is piled with six patties, onions, lettuce and tomatoes.

Besides this massive burger he is now in the process of making burgers in the shape of the Spurs’ logo.

The buns have already been created and Diaz is in the process of getting a stencil made so the hamburger patty can look the same.

A burger he created a few years ago has made its way back on the menu, The Charles Barkley Burger. This burger includes a hamburger patty, rice, beans, a chalupa and two enchiladas.

Diaz tells us that this burger is very popular and one that always comes back every year during the playoffs because of the rants Barkley, a TNT NBA analyst, makes every year about women in San Antonio.

“It’s funny,” Diaz said.

If the Spurs continue deep into the playoffs he will continue coming out with more special Spurs burgers. One in the works could be named after Coach Popovich but he’s still not sure how to create such a complex burger.
