SAN ANTONIO – Police say a 17-year-old was cut with a machete during a confrontation with some other men early Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the victim's home in the 500 block of West Lullwood around 4:30 a.m.

A witness says she saw the suspects ditch the machete in a storm drain near the 400 block of West Hildebrand.
Police searched for the weapon, but did not find it. Investigators said officers did, however, find a gun near the victim's house, but were not sure how it fit in with the incident.
Three people were detained for questioning, police said. The victim was cut on wrist and leg, but is expected to be OK.
