SAN ANTONIO – A deputy constable's pursuit came to a crashing halt Friday night when a suspect crashed his car into a house.
The crash happened in the 1600 block of Spice Spring just before 11:30 p.m.

A deputy from the Pct. 3 Constable's office tried to pull the man over, but the suspect drove away.
The deputy constable then pursued the suspect until the man lost control of his car, crashed through a fence and rolled into the back of a house.
The constable's office says neither the suspect nor the people in the house were injured.
The man was detained for suspicion of DWI.
