SAN ANTONIO – A traffic stop led to the arrest of a man accused of identity theft.
James Lee Curry is charged with tampering with a governmental record and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.

An arrest affidavit said Curry was in the passenger seat when the unnamed driver was pulled over. Detectives found that Curry had an active warrant.
Curry was found with two fake IDs, checks belonging to someone else, a birth certificate that wasn’t his and bank cards in other people’s names.
