SAPD investigating a second shooting, possibly related

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating two shooting that occured Saturday morning that they believe might be related.

Around 2 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the 2800 block of North West Loop 410. When they arrived in the parking lot of Vanity Factory, they found one person in the parking lot who had been shot.

That victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. Police said they also found two people on the east side of the building who had been badly beaten. Those victims were also taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

According to police, none of the victims could give information regarding who hurt them or why.

Police said about 30 minutes later, officers were called to another shooting scene in the 11300 block of Huebner Oaks. Police found a man in the parking lot of the Ventana Apartments who had been shot and killed. 

Police are investigating whether the two shootings are connected.
