Police seek suspect in July bank robbery

Incident occurred July 25 at Chase Bank on De Zavala Rd

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a bank robbery.

The incident occurred on July 25, at a Chase Bank located in the 5200 block of De Zavala Road.

According to police, the man entered the bank wearing glasses and dressed in a pizza restaurant uniform when he walked up to a teller after waiting in line and produced a note informing the teller that the bank was being robbed. The teller placed the money in a blue envelope provided by the suspect. The man then left the loaction and disposed of the pizza uniform and the glasses.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
