2 Home Depot employees injured trying to stop shoplifters

Employee shot in face with BB gun

SAN ANTONIO – Two people working in a North Side Home Depot were injured trying to stop shoplifters Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Police were called to the big-box retailer in the 400 block of Sunset Road just after 3 p.m.

Police said the two employees confronted the shoplifters and one of them was shot in his face with a BB gun.

The other clerk injured her arm when she fell.

Both clerks were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Police continue to search for the two men. Anyone with information is asked to call San Antonio police.
