SAN ANTONIO – A 16-year-old was pronounced dead at a local hospital after another teenager shot him at a Kirby park on Friday.

Authorities said several teens were hanging out at the John H. Sterling Memorial Park around 2:15 p.m. Friday after Judson ISD's early release day when the 16-year-old and the suspect got into an argument.

Police said the gunman shot the teen in the chest and ran from the scene. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died.
