Police seek driver accused of hitting 71-year-old cyclist, fleeing

Driver in Ford Edge that was either gold, silver, maroon, authorities say

SAN ANTONIO – Police are looking for a driver who is accused of hitting a 71-year-old man and fleeing the scene.

Authorities said the driver was in a Ford Edge that was either gold, silver or maroon-colored.

The driver is accused of hitting a 71-year-old man who was on a bicycle near La Fiesta Supermarket on South Flores Street and did not stop to help.

Police have been looking for the driver since Sept. 29. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
