ATM stolen from Chase Bank branch

Suspects used forklift to take money machine

SAN ANTONIOThieves stole a forklift and used it in an ATM burglary early Monday on the city's far Northwest Side.


The theft was reported around 3 a.m. at a Chase Bank branch off Loop 1604 and Northwest Military Drive.

Police said the thieves got the forklift from a pool store at a nearby shopping center and used the heavy machinery to break into the money machine.

The ATM was loaded into a truck and taken away.

Police are reviewing surveillance video.
