DEL RIO, Texas – A 26-year-old Del Rio man has been indicted on seven counts, including charges involving online sextortion, cyberstalking and child exploitation.
Michael Martinez is accused of using the Internet and text messages to harass and intimidate three female victims, including one minor, according to the indictment. From October 2013 to August 2014, he allegedly threatened to post nude photographs of the victims online and send them to their friends and family members if they did not continue to supply him with more images.

Martinez was arrested Thursday and faces three counts of Internet stalking, one count of production of child pornography, one count of receipt of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography, and one count of coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.
While executing a search warrant at Martinez's home in August 2014, FBI agents seized computers and his cellphone. The devices were found to contain about a dozen images of the minor victim engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Martinez will go before U.S. Magistrate Judge Victor R. Garcia Tuesday in Del Rio for a detention hearing. If convicted, Martinez faces life in prison on at least one of the charges.
