Eugene Martinez, 21, was arrested Wednesday evening on the second-degree felony charge after a family member of the victim was sent an inappropriate video of the victim and Martinez, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are searching for a victim after a shooting near a Southeast Side apartment complex. Police were called out to the complex in the 4800 block of Pecan Grove Drive on Thursday evening. They say the shooting stemmed from an ongoing family situation thatโs spanned over a couple of days. What started off as a fistfight between two juveniles near the complex ended with one of them pulling out a handgun and shooting the other, police said. The information given by police at the scene is preliminary and is subject to change as the investigation unfolds.
San Antonio police searching for witnesses, suspect after stabbing attack
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police say theyโve had as tough a time finding witnesses to a gas station stabbing as they have in finding the attacker. The stabbing happened around 6:30 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Loveโs truck stop near Interstate 35 and Fischer Road. Police said although there were several people sleeping in their vehicles at the truck stop, none of them saw anything. They say she told them the suspect drove off in a white vehicle, possibly a pickup. They also searched the area from a helicopter for the suspectโs vehicle, but did not find it.

Woman hospitalized after being hit by car on North Side street, San Antonio police say
SAN ANTONIO โ A woman was knocked unconscious and sent to an area hospital after she was hit by a car while crossing the street, San Antonio police say. The incident happened near Cornwall Drive and Blanco Road on Wednesday evening. Police say the victim, a woman in her 40s or 50s, was crossing Blanco Road when she was hit by a car traveling south on Blanco. The woman was not walking in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. San Antonio police have identified the driver who hit him as Antonio Coronado, 20. According to a police report, Coronado panicked after hitting Nick Ruiz, kept driving, and called his mother. โHe is uninsured, and I have no financial means to handle his bills,โ Ida Ruiz said. Neighbor stunned by shooting death of man inside southeast side San Antonio home
SAN ANTONIO โ People in a Southeast Side neighborhood are still reeling after waking up to the sight of a crime scene. San Antonio police said someone shot and killed a man early Wednesday inside his home in the 2900 block of Lasses Boulevard. Police said it appeared he may have been sleeping when the first shot hit, then collapsed on the floor after getting out of bed. Police said in a statement Wednesday afternoon that two people were taken to Public Safety Headquarters for questioning. Early on investigators said the person who they were looking for is the boyfriend of the victimโs sister.
Friends remember victim killed in barbershop attack on Northwest Side
SAN ANTONIO โ Friends of a victim tragically killed Wednesday in a barbershop attack on the Northwest Side want the community to know more about the life taken too soon. The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 20-year old Evan OโRegan, but friends knew her as Helle Jae OโRegan. Luke Tyler and Harvest Barry stopped by the barbershop where OโRegan was killed to add flowers to the growing memorial.
