SAN ANTONIO – A 62-year-old man has been arrested, accused of breaking into a house and stealing several items before hopping onto a VIA bus.
William Brown has been charged with burglary.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the burglary happened May 8 at a home along Middlefield Drive on the city's Southwest Side.
Police said they obtained video from the bus which showed Brown pushing a large dolly loaded with several bags of stolen items.
The victim recognized the bags as their stolen items, the affidavit said.
