Hundreds of law enforcement officers, National Guard units and a specialized U.S. Border Patrol team, were dispatched to a Houston suburb during the funeral for George Floyd, the man whose death in police custody reenergized national outrage over the treatment of Black Americans at the hands of law enforcement. Shaw Drake, policy counsel of the ACLU of Texas Border Rights Center said use of deadly force is a standing option for law enforcement officers under current law. โCBP is the largest law enforcement agency in the country, and also the least accountable,โ he said in a statement. The memo also includes screen shots of social media posts that alarmed citizens and law enforcement officers. Then they actually take your name and use that to create fake positive reviews in your name on sites like Amazon, Napoliello said.
Maam, is this your chicken? Another Texas clucker flew the coop, this time to Jiffy Lube
PEARLAND, Texas It seems Texas chickens are feeling cooped up because they keep hitching rides to run errands with unsuspecting people. First, it was a chicken named Reba who went to a San Antonio Costco via an unknowing delivery drivers trunk, and now its a chicken named Maggie, who took a trip to a Pearland Jiffy Lube. Tiffany Travis, who lives in Pearland, reached out to KSAT after seeing Rebas story and said her neighbors chicken, Maggie, took an accidental trip with her to Jiffy Lube on Wednesday. Yes, yes that is my chicken. She realized one of her neighbors chickens had somehow hitched a ride. Thank God for funny chickens, Travis said.
