Avery Meurer is a Producer Trainee for SA Live.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Radio, Television, and Film, as well as a Creative Writing Certificate.
A native San Antonian, Avery attended the Northeast School of the Arts (NESA) majoring in musical theater and creative writing. Her favorite role was playing Jojo the newsie in “Newsies”!
Avery has an extensive background in dancing (starting at the ripe age of 2), singing and acting.
She is excited to be back in her hometown doing what she loves!
In her free time, Avery loves watching movies, reading, spending time with friends and learning about all things sound.
She plans to be a professional sound designer in the future and hopes one day to win an Emmy like her professor, Korey Pereira.
