Chris Perez hot sauce to hit H-E-B shelves
SAN ANTONIO โ Back in 2019 Chris Perez stopped by our SA Live studio to share his signature hot sauce line, Perez Pepper Sauce. โAnd I love H-E-B,โ Perez said. Many Selena fans and fans of the film, starring Jennifer Lopez, may recall the scene from the 1997 biopic โSelena: The Movieโ where Chrisโs character (played by actor Jon Seda) tops his pizza with tabasco sauce. โThis sauce really goes on anything,โ Perez said. Be on the lookout for the sauce at the end of October at your local H-E-B.

SAN ANTONIO โ Chris Perez, the former lead guitarist of Selena y Los Dinos and widower, says he acted out of character in recent days, alleging that his legacy and relationship with Selena Quintanilla was being erased. On Wednesday, Perez posted on social media that he had heard rumors of photographs of him and Selena were being removed from the museum. According to Carlito Miranda, Perezโs manager, someone reached out to Perez on social media after a recent visit to the museum. Chris Perez reflects on his life with, without Selena, and her legacy 25 years laterโObviously it bothered him,โ Miranda said. On Tuesday, Perez took to social media with a post saying, โI heard they were trying to make me nonexistent to Selenaโs legacy..... Go for it.โFans quickly began commenting and sharing the post; Most in support of Perez. So far, Perezโs post on social media has been shared more than 8,000 times and has more than 5,000 comments on it. A few hours after this story was posted, Suzette Quintanilla, posted two videos on her Instagram account that show Perez on the Selena Museum wall.

SAN ANTONIO โ In the past 25 years, Chris Perez says he has grown a lot. โIโm constantly learning and Iโm happy,โ Perez, the widower of Queen of Tejano music Selena Quintanilla Perez, said in an interview with KSAT. While the Tejano music world grieved her death, the loss hit Perez even harder because two days later, April 2, would have been Chris and Selenaโs third wedding anniversary. Chris Perez launches custom hot sauce
SAN ANTONIO โ In the โSelenaโ movie there was a scene between Selena and Chris Perez as they went on a pizza date. Perez takes out a bottle of hot sauce from a holster and pours it all over his pizza. That endearing scene has inspired Perez to launch his own custom bottles of hot sauce. โPerez Pepper Sauceโ will be available online at CaJohns.com. Perez wrote an explanation of the logo on social media about how the lion represents the king of the jungle, and maybe one day the hot sauce will be the king of hot sauce.
Chris Perez talks about Selenaโs concert on Amazon, new music
Chris Perez dropped into SA Live to discuss his thoughts on Selena's last-ever concert now available on Amazon. โIโm really excited thatโs happening,โ Perez said. โI think her legacy in the music thatโs still going strong is nothing short of a miracle.โHe also said heโs collaborating with Darryl McDaniels from Run DMC and a mystery NFL player on new music. Plus, he plans on launching a new hot sauce soon.
